Summer 2020 is a bit different for summer activities for everyone! Despite the CoVid-19 pandemic, we will have an exciting summer of music-making with the Online Performer’s Camp for violin and viola students in 5th through 12th grades.
The 8 week session begins the week of June 15, 2020, and ends in a Virtual Performance on August 8, 2020. Weekly Group Classes, Virtual Ensembles Rehearsals, and Private Lessons will provide students with engaging and fun opportunities for building skills, polishing and performing solo repertoire, and creating great ensemble performances with their peers.
To join in the fun of camp, students will need:
- access to any device with a web browser, camera and microphone
- instrument
- at-home practice tools (music stand, digital tuner or tuning app, and metronome or metronome app.)
All other materials, including sheet music, will be provided.
No auditions are required to join camp. The deadline to submit registration and the session tuition payment is June 10. Tuition is $250 for the 8 week camp session and includes all activities and materials for camp, including 16 group classes and ensemble rehearsals, 8 private lessons, and the Virtual Performance on August 8.
